These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to dive trips, courses, snorkeling, and related services booked with BIGBLUE DIVERS ("we", "us", or "our") through this website. By completing a booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Bookings & confirmation
Availability and pricing are subject to change until your booking is confirmed and payment (or the required deposit) is received. A confirmation email or voucher with trip details will be sent once the reservation is accepted.
You are responsible for providing accurate guest names, contact details, certification levels, and any medical information requested at checkout. Incorrect information may result in denied boarding without a refund.
2. Fitness to dive & participation
Scuba diving and water activities involve inherent risks. You must be medically fit to participate and complete any required medical questionnaire honestly. We may refuse participation if, in our reasonable judgement, doing so would endanger you or others.
Participants must follow all safety briefings and instructions from crew, guides, and instructors. Failure to do so may result in removal from the activity without refund.
3. Certification & equipment
For certified dives, you must present a valid certification card (or accepted digital proof) matching the trip requirements. Rental equipment is provided as described on each trip page; you are responsible for reporting damaged gear immediately.
4. Changes by us
We may change itineraries, dive sites, boats, or departure times due to weather, sea conditions, park regulations, mechanical issues, or safety. Where a trip is cancelled by us and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, you will receive a refund or credit as described in our Refund Policy.
5. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in diving or water sports, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. You acknowledge that diving involves risks that cannot be fully eliminated.
6. Personal belongings
Valuables brought on boats or to dive centres are at your own risk. We recommend leaving unnecessary items at your accommodation.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of Thailand unless mandatory consumer rules require otherwise.
