Liveaboard cabin management: the details a passenger counter misses
Configure cabins, assign guests to cabin spaces, and handle shared or private accommodation.
A liveaboard is not just a boat with a passenger limit. A trip with 16 spaces might have double cabins, twin cabins and shared bunks, and a couple, a solo traveler and a group of friends each need something different. A simple counter that says “12 of 16 booked” cannot tell you whether those twelve people fit.
NineDive lets you:
- Configure cabins for each vessel
- Assign guests to cabin spaces
- Handle shared and private accommodation
Why it matters
Cabin problems are expensive to discover late. Tracking guests at the cabin-space level makes it easier to see what is actually available when a new enquiry arrives. It also makes the finished roster more useful, because the crew can see who is sleeping where.
The daily operations desk also shows cabin availability, so the same information is visible at the start of the day.
